Born in Canada to an engineer and a nurse, Marc emigrated to the U.S. at a young age. Before settling permanently in Chicago, Marc lived and worked in some of the most interesting and vibrant cities in the world, including Montreal, San Francisco, St. Louis, Baltimore and Dubai (U.A.E.). With this international background, it is no surprise that one of Marc's greatest joys is travel, having recently kayaked in the Galapagos, hiked Machu Picchu in Peru, visited the pyramids in Egypt and camped in the Amazon basin.
In addition to travel, and from a very young age, Marc's other interests leaned toward law and technology. He was the first in his family to receive a post-graduate degree, graduating near the top of his law school class and serving as the Lead Articles Editor of St. Louis University's Law Journal. After law school, Marc worked as a law clerk for a federal judge in St. Louis.
When not practicing technology law, Marc enjoys assisting charitable organizations, including public schools and other youth-focused groups, with legal issues on a pro bono basis. Additionally, he derives great satisfaction from helping Big Brothers & Big Sisters both with professional advice and by being a Big Brother to Byron, his little brother of 9 years.
